Default Golf 1975 from Croatia "Swallowtail"

Helo my name Is Andrej Zubak.
Live in Zagreb
This is my new car.
im not shure when car is make 1974 or 1975.
















Made in Germani







i have loot of work on my second car mk3 vr6k whit eaton kompresor, and that is reason why mk1 is late.

end of course i made new garage for mk1

i have some new picture.

lots of work...but every swallowtail is worth it!

Your car is a 1975....rearpanel of model 1974 is a little different.

the only way this car drive again on street is original
and only i will change is ats classic 6X13

@Otti..

Year 1974 and 1975 (till mai/june 1975) the tail looked like this.



The 'swallow' is about 2 cm deep and round edges.

Below you see a swallowtail from 'late'1975


There is the 'swallow' about 1 cm deep.

but i have another quetstion;

i dont have carpet on the flour, i have rubber

OK, you are knowing now that your car was built in 1975, but when you write the VIN number of it here (after writing the VIN, push on the button "Analysieren") you can even see in which month.

Btw. the airfilterbox on your engine isn´t the original on a car from that year, on the pic. below you can see an original box.

This car´s first registration ( i know, your car) was June 1975, so it was built in May/June 1975 or even earlier...

@Typ17...the airbox is correct for a 'late' 75 swallowtail..

Ah, OK, didn't now that when they exactly changed the airbox in production, sorry to the topic-starter.

Car and engine with airbox on right side on my pic. is from dec. 1974 (first registration).

my mkI must wait, first i must finish my mkIII






some detail,
and i have vr6 inside. whit megasquirt,
i think i will finish mkIII in two mount and seriously start working on mkI.
