13"x5.5" e38 ATS cups: 10.1" brake clearance?
i have 5 of these.
looking to sell them. ppl are asking what they will clear. so, what will they clear? figured i'd ask here where they're a little more common. |

measure the inside of the rim.. if it's more than 10.1" it's enough.

i don't exactly have a giant vernier caliper to do that with... figured someone on here might have made an attempt at stuffing 10.1" brakes inside these rims in the past - seeing as there are a lot more ats cups on your side of the pond than there are over here.

lots of cups over here indeed but the 5,5x13 aren't too common.
but maybe someone had tried it, dunno you'll have to wait though.

My Audi has the 10.1" brakes up front, and there is no way in hell you are able to install 13" rims. There is about 10 mm clearance from the caliper when using 14" rims.

Do you have any pics? They might look nice on my Caddy, but I didn't know they made them in 13".
