I know of a black one that needs a bit of paint. Good sills, nice black leather trim, standard motor, i'll have to check the miles.

Sounds interesting. I dont mind the paintwork not being the best, as long as its mechanically fine.

Yea...

Not a lot to see at the moment.

It's being prepped to paint as it was a bit of a shed! Hopefully back on the road looking pretty for summer

Im still searching for one! preferably black or dark blue/green/grey. May be going to look at G885 YNF today, its a NON-runner and needs lots of work, but Id love to save it!

I would prefer one already registered in the uk although I havent ruled anything out. Dont know much about importing cars or how much extra it would cost me.

Importing is pretty straightforward if you have the proper registration docs. The hardest part is getting the car over.

Mine was from Germany and I only had one complication in registering it. The original German reg doc was missing the date of production but the DVLA accepted a letter from VW stating it and getting that was suprisingly easy (phoned VW UK and they sent one within a week)
