Default DigiFiz....help needed....

Hi fellas....

Could you tell what are the important points when buying digifiz?

What should i buy with digifiz ? which cables which sensor will i need in the future for mk2 golf or mk2 scirocco ?

The guy told me he couldnt find digital way meter in his garage. Is it vital when mounting it ? Or can it be obtained from other vws for example golf 3 polo 6n etc etc ?

Or is it easliy found in Nederlands ? and how much does it cost ?

thanks for help......

You can also use a digital way meter from a golf 3. But you also need another plug, cause the one used on a golf 3 is different then the one used on the digifiz way meter.

Things to look after, the mounting brackets, they are different then the ones used with the analouge gauges. The swithes (fog lights, rear window heater and hazard switch) are different, the ones used in the cars with digifiz have a control light on the digifiz panel, all the other ones have a control light on the switch. You can use them though, but if you want the whole package it's nice to look after.

Last but NOT least, the wiring harnas.

ow btw maybe you have to change the rotor on the way meter, they have more or less theeth. There are red and light brown ones (if i'm correct), easy to changem just pull it off.

I'll look for it, have a spare one.

just use the old rotor that came out of the gearbox, if it's not the same color. It's held in place by a small circlip
