some Mk3 questions...
First of all I'd like to say hello to everyone. This is my first post on this forum. My question is regarding the GTi pictured below. I live in Japan and I am not sure if this car is a Euro spec? Anyway, I want to run these wheels (not sure if I want to run 7.5"front/9"rear or 7.5" all around) and I am not sure about what suspension and what size adapters (for the staggered wheels and without) to run. Thanks in advance for any info and help.

that car looks perfect. Def. lóóks euro spec, but i'm not sure about the stock specifications on JDM spec VW's.
Looking at the wheel ad, i think they're available in both offsets. and because you need adapters i would run the lower one of the 2. Plus, imho, 9" in the bach with 17" wheels won't look good. Oh and welcome btw. if you'd really ask me, if i got my hands on such a clean car. all i would do is lower it. Wouldn't even bother with other wheels

thanks for the quick reply. if I went with 7.5's all around, do you have any idea about what size of adapter I should buy to get the wheels flush (not poking out)?

You should go for the ET52 wheels, and preferably with a 20 or 25 mm adapter.
As for the spec, the Golf is of course JDM-spec, but it is mostly similar to the cars we have in Europe. Only smaller items to comply with Japanese rules are modified.
