hi guys
since it started to get colder here in norway i used the rear window wiper for the first time, you may guess but it is not working properly
it scratches with a lot of noise until the first quarter then stops for a second,
then goes again, stops,goes,stops,goes......
seems like there is a lot of pressure on the wiperarm
is this a common thing-the wiper blade is new...
help is appreciated

i think it's a common mk4 problem, but i'm sure some-one ith more knowledge will chime in..

My first thought is that the mechanism is dry and rusty. The common ifx is to dismantle the mechanism and grease it up properly as you assemble it.
