Default VW Caddy 1.9 TDI & Biodiesel

I have a VW Caddy 1.9 TDI (2007 Model) and would like to find out about the difference between the European Model and the Australian Model.

The Fuel System in the Aussie VW Caddy is not heated and I believe the European Models for Biodiesel have heated filters and maybe other heated items.

Would anyone like to post some pictures of the Fuel Filter.

Information about our Caddy is on my Forum and Website.

i don't think they come with a biodiesel option here at all.. every car i've seen running on veggy oil has been aftermarket fitted.. that said, there's quite some expertise on these mods here on the forums.. Not sure how it would work on such a modern car though.. oh and welcome btw.

For veggiepower, you should contact Ronnie (CaddyDaddy) op www.vwcaddyforum.nl (btw, website is currently offline)
He had very much experience on running a tuned Golf3 TDI-engine in his Caddy1 on 100% vegetable oil.

The heating might not be necessary in Australie due to the higher temperatures compared to Holland??

My VW Caddy has been running on 100% Biodiesel at times but it gets down to - 5C here in South Austalia. The Biodiesel starts gelling at about 5 C so you can see why I am looking for heating devices.

Ik ben een Rotterdammer maar ik ben al 48 jaar in Australia en spreek nooit geen Nederlands meer. Zo als ik wat foutjes maak met mijn Hollands heb ik dan een excuse.
