Just got back from a wonderfull, warm day @ RetroMania,.. AND got past the 1000 km 'running' in. It's now ready to be 'tuned', and used. Did have some temp. problems though: Can't run it at 100km/h for a long time, or oil temp raises to 130+ 0C. So in need of an oil-cooler. Thinking of an EGT aswell, since I do just love how smooth it runs (exept for idle).

Very nice to just have the feel of that pile of torque left as reserve under my rightfoot, and knowing it will only be getting more out of it.

And btw: stunning to see that the number of hits on 'G40 + Diesel' on google suddenly raising...
