What's wrong with flipping your rear axle over the springplates?

Why is it scary? The factory stub axle plates are welded as well, and my buddy is a quality welder, not to mention we added the gussets which the factory setup does not have.
Flipping the axle decreases suspension travel to virtually nil, especially if you want to be able to carry any load at all (which I do). I also do not have to change out to shorter shocks with this method. |
