Already switched the alternators though, but took the throttlebodies and manifold off, and gave them to my buddy "MacGyver" to weld up. I wasn't happy with the sawed off stock mani and silicon couplers, it might flex too much when hot. Might be ok if you use carbs, they're forgiving, but injection is just too precise to deal with inlet volume fluctuations.
He called me today his alu welder broke down halfway through  ,but i'm recovering from dental surgery, so no rush  |
