Met een adapterbus (dikkenaaf) past het wel in de Golf 1 of Golf 1 cabrio.
De adapter kost ± 15 euro bij de dealer.

Maar het is niet plug&play
Ik heb onderandere de sleepring voor de claxon aangepast, en uiterraad geen airbag, dit heb ik weer opgelost door een nieuwe afdekking te maken.
