passat 91 fuse 18 blows

I need help,

The car just stop running at a stop sign. I was told to change the fuel pump in the trunk, we did. worked fine for 3 days and then again stop working and everytime it stop it blows fuse 18. Changed the fuse and tried to restart but stop again. i don't know what to do anymore.HELP!!!

sounds like the pump is shorting out, you sure it was put in correctly?

Yes we checked it twice. I now bought a new relay to try and I changed all the fuses.
