1552 introduces "double up"
This was always has been my preferred option if you had to go from 4x100 to 5x100. I always wondered why nobody filled this hole in the market.
Would the price for the kit be the same for 256mm and 280mm rotors? Since there is a signification price difference in those 2 disks (not to mention standard el cheapo version or Brembo/EBC). If anybody in the Netherlands need help, if can replace these for you (I can replace the wheelbearings if they are worn out). |
449,52 dollar's........It's cheaper to redrill the original hub , and replace the bearing's........
If you want to go from 4x100 to 5x100 . It will cost you 2 new bearings and someone to drill the new hole's in the hub. |

If you find that "someone", he could fill the hole in the market too. just give him the old hub and get a re-drilled back. I don't know the English word for "ruildeel" ;) |
a friend of mine has done this a long time agoo... I find the price just rediculous...... everyone could think of this?
isnt it damaging the structural integrity?
Or just weld the old holes and then put the hub in the lathe. Then you've got a solid base.
It's possible of course but i think that they are strong enough . I know a person driving 300hp mk2 4x4 with holdex with the same set up and he has no problems. Even after this crash there was no damages on the hubs http://lh3.ggpht.com/_5ORsDn-Eq00/S...ck/IMG_3280.jpg (the brake disk was broken).
