I think next time you should just post in english, a lot easier than reading translation-computer-dutch :)

I think your looking for a hub for this Votex steeringwheel?

MaceNL 11-08-2004 17:43

Yeah Stijn is right this is harder than reading it in english ;)

OakgreenVR6 11-08-2004 17:47

I'm curious what the actual question is! :D Anyway, I believe I have exactly the same steering wheel, including hub, as shown on your picture. And it's for sale, if you need it! ;)

Pedaalemmer 11-08-2004 17:52

hoeveel moet ie kosten pieter?

OakgreenVR6 11-08-2004 18:13

25 euri, inclusief bijbehorende adapter. Een échte Votex hè! ;):D

MaceNL 11-08-2004 18:15

Wat is de staat ?

OakgreenVR6 11-08-2004 18:22

Nette staat, alleen 2 van de 4 kunststof schroeven om de kap binnenin op het stuur vast te houden zijn afgebroken.

GTD Special 11-08-2004 18:23

I also really don't know what the question is....so ask you question again in English please, and maybe we can help you ;)

my apologies for the poor dutch translation. i hate using thosetranslators myself, but figured there weren't many people who spoke english here. bad assumption!

anyway, i have the above pictured votex wheel. all i need is a correct hub for my 1990 jetta, but no one seems to have one in the usa that i can find thru our forums. i would be interessted in purchasing a hub from someone, or could trade for it if there are usa parts you want.

OakgreenVR6 11-08-2004 22:11

I have one, but now the question is: Is a hub from a '86 mkII EU Golf similar to the one for a '90 mkII USA Jetta?

Stijn 11-08-2004 22:15

Doh! Might be a tough one. 86 hub might just be the narrow steeringshaft..... Measuring is knowing (that saying sounds better in Dutch :))

OakgreenVR6 11-08-2004 22:20

Eet het en je weet het!
uhhh...meten is weten ja :)

That's ok ;)

Now we know what you're talking about ;)

I can't help you, but maybe some other people can.

yea, we refer to them as being big spline or small spline - small being the earlier ones. mine however is a later model. if my only option is changing out to the older style - then so be it i suppose. maybe this wheel was only available prior to the change in steering hubs?

mk2dubbin 16-08-2004 19:31

email sent to DubstremeVR6 :)
