Friend of mine said it was the early Edition 1 interior?
Can anyone confirm this? Part leather in the back aswell.

According to a folder from '86 ('87 also) it was available as option with that type of fabric.

Yep, but it's fake leather, according to the folder.

It is the old style GTI interior. The small bumper Edition one's had the blue seats with Edition on it.

not bad for fake leather, i love the look on them,... if mine would have had the leather bolsters i would never have thrown them out

if it tastes like cow it's real, if it tastes like plastic it's fake :p

LOL! It's hot outside, so I have a feeling im gonna get the more "Sweaty ass" taste :)

Take a lighter and hold the flame against the leather, if it doesn't melt it's real, if it melts, it's fake :)
