What is the front disc size of 1995 Golf GTi 16v ?
 

is it 288mm or 280mm ??

As far as i can see only the VR6 of that year had 288mm. The 16v has 280mm

1996 models have 288m discs, dont they ?

some web sites say that post 95 is 288mm ; pre 95 is 280mm...95 is in the middle ..it isnt clear...:D

I had a look in the parts catalogue, for 95 it says that both the 8V and 16V GTI uses the 280 mm discs, while the VR6 had the 288 mm discs. For the 96 model year, the parts catalogue doesnt break the disc size down to engine versions.

After some research 1997 and 1996 models 16v have 288mm....1995 models have 280mm...
