DODmanSOJU Golf mk2 TD (SB) project

Volkswagen Golf mk2
First registration in 1991
1,6 TD (SB) engine

I own this beautiful mk2 for half a year now and finaly I decided to make my mark in this forum. I hope nobody minds me writing in english because I don't know dutch that good. And my english probably isn't the best either. :D

I was looking for a mk2 Golf with 3 doors and SB engine for a long time. When I saw this one I knew that I have to have it. And it was cheap too

This Golf is a daily and will stay that way.

I already have crossed out a lot of things in my "to do list" but there still ar some things I need to do:

+ Lower it
+ Get some r15 Borbet A's on it
+ Get boot lid with no rust and paint it. This one simply won't do it..
+ Get power steering
+ Fix some minor mechanical issues
+ Get black Hella tail lights
+ Maybe some nice recaro seats
+ Fix some interior error's..
+ Keep it OEM and enjoy the ride

Lots of pictures with job I have done so far. Some comments between pictures..

Sunroof was fuc*ed up -

Looking for every square cm of rust..

After many day work..

This spot was simple AWFUL..

Geting ready for paint..

Had to paint in segments because air extractor isn't powerfull enaught..

Cleaned hood just a litle bit..

And done!

And in the way bac to NL -

Pictures from last week -

Next big update (just dreamin')-
