A few more pictures from an event we had here, couldn't decide which wheels to run so i ran 2 different sets!
Was running 185/35/17's! and the amg style wheels and my favorite pic! You gotta love camber! |
damn... Nice car, especially on the first pics! Nice place to shoot some pics with an European car, could be placed in a VW magazine right away!
I'd fancy the first set of rims better than the RH's, but that is ofcourse for you to decide! Welcome. |
dude, nothing mindblowing? like your style very much, awesome rims on the last pictures! keep posting!!

Here in South Africa they putting terrible cars in the veedub mags! 18" wheels on mk II's 2 tone paint jobs opel seats :shake: :shake: :shake: Its terrible man! I mailed them once an they never got back to me so it don't matter! She's my baby any how! |

Thanks very much, its so nice to find people to share your passion with! I do it for the love of the dubs! Will get some more pictures! peace out dubbers! |
hey guys thanks for the great comments, here are a few more pictures back as a daily driver!
As luck would have it i poilshed my "garage" over the long weekend so my car was nice an clean atleast! here a few pictures of our group breakfast  Details on the cars: The silver MKI is an 2007 R line 1,8i with 272 and kit (OEM from vw - minus the stickers) The dark greyish bluish car is my womens car its a 2004 MKI 1.4i with 288 cam (84kw) and Vr6 wheels (we fitted 280mm disks, for 2 reason's firstly new MK I brakes are still crap, and secondly here new motor is almost done we hoping for 115kw+ 2,0lt 8v mp9) The polo is a friends car,its 2006 1,4i, it has stagged wheels and red leather retrim! The red MK II is mine, the wheels rub on the fenders and the front lip touches if you go too fast on a bumpy road! Meeting across the road from a friends work! How convenient! ^_^ he must have got the polo cheap! on the road! and first obstacle! I  speedbumps! and finally getting there! This is the parking lot! Its a small house which is converted into a little coffee shop across the road from the beach! and stopping on the way back also managed to get a few nice shots of my wheel while i was driving  hope you guys like them! Cheers Amish |
Nice car (read very nice)...the only thing that badger's me is the 4 doors...2 look much sportier ;)
|

|

Thanks very much! wow there seem to be nice guys on this forum! |
forgot to post an interior shot!
and the next project! |
is this the polo 6n2 interior? i like to put it in my golf mk1, so please tell me was it dificult to fit it into your car?? since i'm new like you - can you tell me how to put the pictures in your posts
|
Quote:
yes it is, it was pretty hard, but i'm running the polo injection also! You need to go to www.photobucket.com and open an account! Then you copy the [IMG] file (last one under thumbnail) and you paste that into your thread! |

you have to upload your picture somewhere (in the gallery of this forum, or somewhere else online). Small remark; I do not really like the 6N2 dash; but that may be caused by the flashy bright dails and radio. They kinda disturb the smooth LED's of the standard VW lighting. But still, nice car! |
Quote:
The dash is my favorite thing in the car! Makes it feel like a new car inside  I do want to change the guages thou! Unfortunately i can't spend more money on the red car! only once the 16v is on the road can i fiddle with it! I forgot to put a picture of the engine! |
hey guys here are a few more pictures of my car!
Hope you like  thanks for taking time to look thru my thread cheers Amish! |
i like these rims best |
Me too :)
|
Very nice car!! Be carefull with it!!!
|
Quote:
just curious why you say i should be careful with it? I know i could be a lil more careful with it! Its hard to drive slowly thou! Coilovers and torque in combination with wide wheels really make you over confident! cheers Amish |
i think it's just a bad translation from dutch, i think he means take good care of it, cause it's worth it.
|
hey guys here are a few more pictures, we where invited to "display" our cars at a local event!
I was running on sparco 16's with 165's they are 16x7,5 et 0 rear et 5 front  My girlfriends car was running on tt wheels with 185 35's and our wallpaper shots took a few photos yesterday! 165/40/16's are the shizzle! :D and i got my sticker! :D and a few interior shots and some artistic pictures! hope you guys like  , thanks for looking thru my thread Peace out Amish! |
