The hood is almost finished. It took a lot of thinking and work but it's almost done :D



















and the parts that I bought 3 months ago from U.S finally arrived

the rear calipers







and the H&R sway bar

the hood really is a great addition. so the sides are mk2 hood and the centre is integrale? or how did you do it?

The hood is half MK2 and half Lancia :D
The outer lines and frame of the MK2 hood and the center frame from the integrale and the outer skin (lancia integrale) is put almost on the whole frame (MK2 & Integrale).
Now its left for the frame to be glued with the skin and the make up :tongue:

You can see on the picture that has been taken from under the hood. The black part MK2 the white one Lancia Integrale.

And finally the hood is finished :)



















everything fits as stock. All the lines are aligned :D

If you see it like this, it really is a shame VW didn't make a hood like that on the original Rallye. On the other hand, it would have been a bit of copy-paste regarding the Delta.

I also bought a set of 4 Audi RS4 injectors which I will use with the stage 3 or 4 ;D when I buy an engine of course :D

I'm working on an mk3 4motion project, and i'm using an Gen2 Haldex.

I'm trying to figure out how the controller works, because it needs the ABS signals, and what i am told is that the signals from mk2/3 ABS sensors are not the same as that from an mk5.

How are you going to setup your haldex controller?

:( I'll be using a complete wire ring harness from a Quattro car, and about the ABS signals... I started something ones but gave up ;)

As far as i can see he is still using his original abs sensors. If that's true i can keep the original sensors in combination with a mk5 abs pump for the canbus connection.

He is using an MK5 ABS magnetic rings and MK5 ABS sensors. The ABS rings are fixed on the CV joints. I guess you missed that :confused:

what does R8 fuel pressure ventil do? it must be important since it's made in japan and not eastern europe lol :rolleyes:
also, I'm sureprised to see the follower for HPFP (or what I think the part is) has an expiry date! :confused:

The theory goes like this - The OEM fuel return valve opens at 130 bar and allows pressure to drop to 127 bar,then it starts building pressure back up again until it reaches 130 bar at which point the cycle is repeated. The RS4 valve does not open until the pressure reaches 136 bar and allows the pressure to drop until it reaches 130 bar before it starts building the pressure back up. So a stage 2+ map requests 130 bar of rail pressure therefore this mod should be beneficial, as it will help maintain 130 bar fuel rail pressure rather than fluctuate from 130 - 127 bar with the OEM system.
About the cam follower for the HPFP :eek: I juts saw that :confused: I really don't know :confused:

The bumpers, rear view mirrors, front grill came back from painting :thumbup:

OK nothing much done but ...:D

I decided to chrome all mu nuts and bolt so here are some of that:




and more new parts










then started cutting the MK5 dashboard ;)







and at the end I finally installed the brake lines :thumbup:













I painted the front lock carrier, lower cross member and completed the front end and the bonnet because I couldn't wait to see how will the car look at the end :P
