still working on it...
i have next week off, hope to get some work done

Marcski 01-04-2011 17:38

more stuff bought;

innovate mtx-l wideband lambda controller

mk1 westy grill

16 pieces of 50x20cm damping mats to get the cabin nice and quiet

I wanted a silent exhaust for the RDW check, but stock mk1 caddy exhaust is only available in straw-size. Custom stainless is a bit too expensive at the moment, so i bought an ebay Sharan VR6 anlage i can make fit.
Lots of length, 55mm diameter, nice round mufflers and damn cheap.
Doesn't have to last decades anyways..

ordered on wednesday, got here today already!

Engine bay is pretty solid underneath the dirt and grime;

still gotta weld the corners behind the struts and some small holes, and it's ready for fresh paint

Marcski 23-06-2011 09:21

Actually it wasn't. Engine was cold and lots of fresh air because i couldn't hold it in but behind, so the reading was changing all the time. At least i know the controller is fast ;)

Sander 09-08-2011 14:36

Marcski 10-08-2011 08:40
