good news on the car:
i got the kneebar mounted


a lower strut bar made


and everything registered and approved


got some licence plates with the build year


and have driven the car succsessfully to norway, wich was a 2000km
testdrive.
i was scared, but then on the autobahn i just had to overcome the fear of death to get the thrill of speed.

i drove my car about 1400km last weekend from bergen to sarpsborg
where i attendet one of the biggest car festivals in norway...
gatebil festival, here a pic of the camping area:

the black one is rwd vr6turbo with 700hp
the red/black caddy has vr6 midengine on the back if i saw that right :confused:

onlythat my driveshaft is basicly gone, see in general.
need to get that fixed asap to go to germany for a mk1 gtg...
engine runs still like a clockwork, i turned the suspension as low as possible to have less problems with the driveshaft....
lets see if i can get the new inner cv joint in and be finished in time to go to germay...

why you have the german brief?in norway it's impossible to do a legal register?

because i am german and still have a value post adress in gemany i
can register the car in germany.
if i wanted to register it in norway it would cost me like 6000$ to do it...
(customs and registation)
i dont want to give the government here more than neccessary.
they already take 40% of my payment in taxes :(

check the prices of new cars here they are 20-30% more expensive than in germany, only because of taxes :screwy:
tomorrow morning i am going to germany, woot woot!!

unfortunately i cant go to germany after all :mad:
i piced my car up from a workshop who changed my destroyed inner cv joint.
-the car was not ready on time so it would have been impossible for me to
reach the ferry
- i payed 5500NOK (about 640 euro, 780$) for the job and the cv joint so i
dont have money to travel, worst part on that is that the norvegian
customs wanted 70 euro for importing tax... :screwy:

i am totally bummed about that and going to drink until complete loss of language skills tomorrow...

damn that sucks!! i'll pop one open on that thought aswell :cheers:
