pauly you want me to do all the work here??? anyway as stated we went on away from the wörthersee-to germany again where we met hape(duke69 on the vwscene-forum.de)who invited us to his house when i posted the planned route for our trip over there. on the way we spotted a sign which directed us to the porsche museum in gmünd, this is where the first porsches have been handbuild if you didnt know that already....    they handshaped the panels over this wooden model           in the evening we met the duke and started a small bavarian evening which meant, guess what??? beer, beer and more beer, not just only beer but HELL EXPORT!!!!  hapes apprentis steff had an south-bavarian-north-austrian dialekt that i had real problems to understand, lol  hapes wonderful wife melli was not of the shy sort and addet a lot of positivity to the party!  helmut-was defenately TÜV approved (he is the tüv approval guy in the region) pauly was drunk and wanted to go sleep....  next day! my windshield had a crack from a stone which fell down from a tunnel roof in norway. this crack got bigger and bigger, i decided that the windshield needs to be replaced before it shatters on the autobahn. lucky for us hape works as a car mechanic and moved some other customers to replace my windshield  melli´s ex polo  hape said: my boss has a small collection, you wanna see it? guess what, of course we did!  drool, a alpina bergcup car       the scenery was awsome  after the windshield was replaced we went to a typical bavarian breakfast  pauly do you have the pics of the sausages? cant find them.... to later in the day |

here as promised- THE MOST BEAUTYFUL CAR EVER BUILD (imho)     i was standing there and staring at it for like 15min with my mouth open!! here are the other pics from mercedes museum in stuttgart                paul thought that this unimog doka pic up drawing was supercool    i liked boath museums in stuttgart and recommend them to anyone. the roads in stuttgard on the other hand are terrible, one would think that with the tax income from 2 big car companys they would fix the roads tomorrow i am gonna start posting pics from here  i hope pauli got the vids up on youtube :confused: |

nah, i used to have a bunch of Bburago's when i was a kid, but i used to play with them so they all got damaged in some form just like my Siku's, Majorette's and Matchbox's.. gave them all (including the VW's which i now regret) to my little cousins when i was 16.

holy ground at the nürburgring!!!!
   rather nürburgring than a marriage ring! we were looking for a hotel and have been lucky right at the nürburg it was already dark so we took some booze with us against the cold weather and i could convince the guys watching the track that we only wanted to take a small peek at the track, so they let us in without tickets... there was a whole insanity going on ther people where camping EVERYWHERE we stopped by one of the tents and took some of our booze with the guys campng there:beer:   it was still freaking cold so we walked back to the hotel in the next morning we woke up to a dense fog so we went to the main building         vw had a display where they showed the "TEAM" edition golf wich has these awsome seats and lots of options incloudet in the base price      i renewed my membership with the ADAC (aaa in germany) because earlyer whe heard some grinding noises from my car, what was going on there????   no idea how this happened tomorrow i will show lots of stuff from the race day! i just hope paul will be finished uploading the vids soon............. :mad: |
