56'er T1 Pick Up !!

Naast mijn Golf 1 daily ben ik samen met mijn vader en broer een T1 Pickup uit 1956 aan het opknappen :D

Deze hebben wij vorig jaar al gekocht en de planning was paar rotte delen te vervangen en dan gaan rijden! Toen dat eenmaal gebeurd was en we een beter beeld van de bus hadden gekregen toch voor een full resto gekozen! waar we jammer genoeg nog steeds mee bezig zijn :rolleyes:

Hier een update over het laswerk aan de bus, het onderste stuk van de neus, de binnen en buiten dorpel, links en rechts een nieuwe stuk vloerplaat in de cabine en nog vele kleine plekken.

En weer een update!
De bus staat aan de buitenkant helemaal strak en in de etchprimer! alleen de binnenkant van de borden moet nog verder worden afgewerkt. dat was er nog al slecht aan toe duidelijk een werk busje geweest :D

Staat er lekker bij al zeg ik het zelf :wuv:

De assen en versnellings bak zijn ook aangepakt. Alles is met de stoomcleaner schoon gemaakt, gestraald, in 2k grondlaag en dan een 2k polyurethaan zwart er op. nieuwe bussen, keringen, pakkingen etc allemaal vervangen.

En nu lopen jullie uptodate! op het moment bezig met alles in elkaar te steken en te passen. Alleen is het soms nog moeilijk om aan alle goede onderdelen te komen en dat kan het soms wel wat vertragen :(

Nu een vraag jullie kant op. de bus word zoiezo Dove Bleu :thumbup: alleen is hier de discussie mat of glanzend. Wat zeggen jullie? :D
